By the time you’re reading this, I’ve graduated from Kansas State University with a B.A. in Mass Communication – Journalism and a Minor in Philosophy, and have completed my internship at Lents Mazur & Associates! As I reflect on my journey as a student and an intern, I am filled with gratitude for the invaluable experiences and wisdom I have gained along the way.

The Lents Mazur team has shared some great advice with me – and my fellow interns Krya and Scarlett who complete their internships soon – for our professional journeys. They encouraged me to take risks, raise my hand to do something new, stay connected, take on new assignments, be out of my comfort zone, find time to do something that makes me happy, remember to focus on the outcome – not the ego, exercise and stay physically healthy, and of course – make time for happy hour.

With all this insight I received, I want to also give you all something. The DeBruce Foundation’s Graduation Toolkit! The Graduation Toolkit is a free online resource designed to equip recent high school and college graduates with the tools and resources to take the next steps in their career journey. We invite you to share the Graduation Toolkit with your network so that together, we can reach as many graduates as possible. I enjoyed my time at Lents Mazur and K-State so much, and I am excited for what the future holds!
